ICEPINE Format Converter

Coverage

Formats

See which extensions ICEPINE can handle by category: video to MP4, HEIC to JPG, audio to MP3, PDF to images, and more. Conversion stays on your device. “Supported” means typical files convert reliably; “Best effort” means narrower coverage or preview/synthesis — complex files may be slower or need a re-export first.

Video input

Write video as H.264 MP4, H.265 MP4, WebM, or crop to Animated GIF / Animated WebP (output max 30 seconds). Subtitles, HDR and extra audio tracks are usually not kept in full.

FormatStatusNotes
MP4.mp4SupportedMost common — phones and the web play it everywhere.
M4V.m4vSupportedTreated like MP4.
MOV / QuickTime.movSupportedCommon from iPhone and cameras; unusual codecs take longer.
WebM.webmSupportedCommon for web and screen recordings; decoding depends on the browser.
MKV.mkvSupportedMain video and audio convert; subtitles are usually dropped.
AVI.aviSupportedOld camcorder files; rare codecs use the local engine and may be slower.
WMV.wmvSupportedLegacy Windows video; typical files work, a few old codecs may fail.
FLV.flvSupportedEarly web video; usually re-encoded to H.264 MP4.
MPG.mpgSupportedDiscs and early exports; re-encoded with the local engine.
MPEG.mpegSupportedSame as MPG.
MPEG-TS.tsSupportedTV recordings and live-stream slices.
M2TS.m2tsSupportedBlu-ray-style container, same path as TS.
3GP.3gpSupportedOld phone recordings, written to a generic MP4.
3G2.3g2SupportedSame family as 3GP.
OGV.ogvSupportedUncommon web video container; Theora and similar can decode.
RM.rmSupportedRealMedia via the local engine (RV30/40 and similar); a few old codecs may fail.
RMVB.rmvbSupportedSame RealMedia family as RM.

Video output

FormatStatusNotes
H.264 MP4.mp4SupportedBest compatibility; uses hardware acceleration when available.
H.265 / HEVC MP4.mp4SupportedStill a .mp4 file; usually smaller than H.264.
WebM VP9.webmSupportedGood for the web; falls back to software VP9 (slower, still finishes).
Animated GIF.gifSupportedTrim a span; output max 30s, default long edge 640, ~10 fps cap; auto-downgrades past ~50 MB.
Animated WebP.webpSupportedSame span/duration limits as GIF; usually sharper and lighter.

Image

For album exports, web images and design delivery. HEIC, TIFF, AVIF and more open locally and write to common formats.

Input

FormatStatusNotes
PNG.pngSupportedTransparency and screenshots.
JPEG.jpgSupportedIncludes jpeg / jfif.
WebP.webpSupportedWeb-friendly and small.
BMP.bmpSupportedUncompressed bitmap; files are large.
GIF.gifSupportedStill GIFs keep a decoded frame (usually the first); animation is not rebuilt.
AVIF.avifSupportedModern web image; decode and encode.
TIFF / TIF.tiffSupportedScans and print masters.
ICO.icoSupportedInput only: reads one frame from common sizes.
HEIC / HEIF.heicSupportedInput only: iPhone photos; HEIC is not written back.
SVG.svgSupportedCan also be rasterized as an image source.
JPEG XL.jxlSupportedInput only: newer efficient image format.
Photoshop PSD.psdBest effortInput only: reads the composite preview; missing composites or complex layers may fail.
TGA.tgaSupportedInput only: common in games and 3D exports.
APNG.apngSupportedInput only: usually the first frame, no animation rebuild (like still GIF).
JPEG 2000.jp2Best effortInput only: JP2 / J2K; complex files are best-effort.
CR2 / NEF / ARW / DNG.rawBest effortInput only: common camera RAW; large files may demosaic at half res, then try the embedded preview.

Output

FormatStatusNotes
PNG.pngSupportedKeeps transparency — icons and screenshots.
JPEG.jpgSupportedTransparent areas get a white background.
WebP.webpSupportedCommon on the web and in chat.
BMP.bmpSupportedWorks in old software; files are large.
AVIF.avifSupportedOften smaller at similar quality.
TIFF.tiffSupportedPrint and archival intermediates.

Audio input

Export as MP3, M4A / AAC, OGG / WAV (lossless) / WMA; MIDI is synthesized with a general soundfont, then encoded.

FormatStatusNotes
MP3.mp3SupportedPlays almost everywhere.
WAV.wavSupportedLossless PCM from recorders and DAWs.
FLAC.flacSupportedLossless compression — archive, then optionally MP3.
OGG / OGA Vorbis.oggSupportedOpen container, common in games and on the web.
Opus.opusSupportedEfficient for speech and low bitrates.
M4A / AAC.m4aSupportedCommon on Apple devices and podcasts.
AIFF / AIF.aiffSupportedLossless recording in the Apple ecosystem.
WMA.wmaSupportedLegacy Windows audio; typical files decode via the local engine.
AC-3.ac3SupportedCommon movie tracks; decoded then written as MP3 / M4A / OGG.
AMR.amrSupportedOld phone call recordings.
CAF.cafSupportediOS recording container.
MIDI.midBest effortRendered with a general soundfont then encoded; timbre may differ; about 10 minutes max.

Audio output

FormatStatusNotes
MP3.mp3SupportedBest for sharing and compatibility.
WAV (PCM).wavSupportedLossless extract/store — first choice for editing.
M4A (AAC).m4aSupportedGood for phone libraries and podcasts.
OGG (Opus).oggSupportedOpen, small — good for web and speech.
WMA.wmaSupportedWrites wmav2; many players still skip WMA — prefer MP3 / OGG for sharing.
